Beschreibung
Monterosso ist zweifellos der bekannteste Ort der Cinque Terre Küste und ist einfach mit dem Auto und dem Zug zu erreichen. Hier beginnen die Spazierwege nach Vernazza und Levanto durch Olivenhaine, die bis zum Meer reichen. Eine unvergessliche Erfahrung, dank der unzähligen Formen der Natur, der Spuren des Menschen, der hier seit Jahrhunderten in den terrassenförmig angelegten Weinbergen arbeitet und der einfachen Eleganz der antiken und besonderen Architektur. L’Uccelliera, als Jagdhaus am Ende des 19. Jahrhundert erbaut, liegt hoch oben auf der Spitze eines Hügels oberhalb des Dorfes Monterosso; umgeben von Weinbergen und Zitronenbäumen und eingehüllt vom Duft der Pinien und des Ginsters. Der mit nichts zu vergleichbare Blick auf die gesamte Küste der Cinque Terre reicht bis hin zur Tino Insel, während am Westhang die Silhouette der Punta Mesco inmitten des blauen und noch absolut sauberen Meeres hervorragt. Man erreicht das alte Dorf in 10 Minuten über einen Fußweg, der sich am Hang zur Küste hin, am Kapuzinerkloster und dem wunderschönen Friedhof vorbeischlängelt. Ein direkter Fußweg durch einen Steineichenwald führt hingegen zum Meer. Mit dem Auto sind es zum Meer 2 und nach Levanto 7 km. Der Parkplatz am Haus ist privat.

Greetings from the Cinque Terre. L'Uccelliera is magnificent - the pictures and descriptions don't do it justice. It sits high on a cliff overlooking the two parts of Montorosso; you can see the other four Cinque Terre villages from our windows and the grounds; the views are wonderful; many photos.

Thank you very much for your very professional assistance with the home in Monterosso. L’Uccelliera was a hit with my family. The area is truly beautiful. I had planned to spend more time in the Tuscany area going in and out of Monterosso but once there decided to just stay the entire week except one day to Pisa and Lucca. Maria and Renato were very pleasant and helpful as was Paolo. Please thank them for their assistance and hospitality.

If you're into views you can't do better than this villa, on a promontory with sea views in both directions and a green expanse of terraced hills behind. The enormous garden means you can wander off on your own and read or paint or whatever you want to do without running into other tourists - of whom there are hordes in Monterosso. Yet it's only 10 minutes walk down - or 15 up - if you need anything. The house is full of character and interesting objects. It was perfect.

A beautiful house with a magnificent view of Cinque Terre! The large garden and the two terraces made it possible to always find a shady spot for meals and time together. And around the house, one can feel completely undisturbed, yet the village is not far away.

Now we are back from our vacation at the L´Uccelliera in the Cinque Terre region. We had a wonderful week in a nice house in a marvellous region of Italy.we all loved the house and also the region. Maria, Renato and also Isabella are all very helpful and nice people that we found great trust in.
