This very special property is located on the edge of Castello di San Donato in Perano (Chianti), a beautiful hamlet which has recently been restored to such a high standard that it was awarded by the International Property Awards 2006. Cavalcanti’s position allows the guests to enjoy unusual privacy compared to other units on the Estate yet take full advantage of the shared gardens and swimming pool. Castello di San Donato in Perano is set in one of the most spectacular positions of Tuscany, in the heart of the Chianti region between the historical villages of Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. The hamlet boasts a central position among the 360 hectares of vineyards belonging to the Estate and is composed of a castle dating back to the 10th century and a church along with several other buildings. The discerning owners, who previously owned another farmhouse of very high standard in Chianti, recently made the decision to purchase Cavalcanti for its extraordinary beauty. They have furnished the interiors at the highest possible standard and equipped it with all modern facilities. A particular feature of Cavalcanti is the beautiful terrace and garden where guests can appreciate the most stunning views of the surrounding countryside when simply relaxing outdoors or having al fresco meals under the well furnished pergola.

Ground Floor: Large sitting room and kitchen both opening onto the front terrace; Master bedroom with four poster bed, en-suite bathroom (Jacuzzi bath and separate shower) and walk-in wardrobe; Master bedroom with four poster bed and en-suite bathroom (jacuzzi bath, separate shower); Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath and separate shower). All bedrooms open onto garden/terrace.

I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to thank you for everything you did to make our vacation in Cavalcanti a pleasure. We and our friends throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was everything we had hoped for and even more. Cavalcanti is set in a landscape of great beauty, and the house itself is extraordinary. We also appreciate the wonderful customer service that Salogi provided. In particular, your rapid replies to the many questions we posed were really helpful. We have already recommended Salogi to friends who are thinking about Italian vacations. We ourselves look forward to returning to Tuscany, perhaps in 2017. With best wishes for continued success,

This is a spectacular property with impressive views of vineyards and olive groves from the outdoor eating area. It faces east so unable to see sunsets but warm and sunny for breakfast outdoors. he interior was well appointed with comfortable beds and excellent hot water and water pressure

This was an absolutely wonderful place to call "home" for our week in Tuscany. It is extremely well equipped with comfortable furnishings and beautiful decor. Centrally located to visit major cities and smaller villages throughout Tuscany. Great area for wine lovers! I would recommend this villa without hesitation. We have rented many villas throughout Italy and this is one of our favourites.

Overall we had a great, relaxing stay at Cavalcanti. The views were breathtaking and the location was pretty good. We made day trips to Siena, Florence and nearby towns.

The ambiance was great, we felt like at home. The panorama is beautiful from the terrace. It is very good starting point to different towns in Chianti region, even Siena and Firenze.

A lovely homely feel, with Ida being a great host. The views are fantastic and watching the sunsets over Chianti hills was supurb. A great location for exploring Chianti.
