Description

This pretty property is located in a very quiet position within walking distance of the 12th century village of Palaia, and has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside, with olive groves, vineyards and medieval villages. The area is known as the Chianti of the Pisan hills and is an ideal base for visiting the nearby Tuscan towns of Montaione, Certaldo, Volterra and San Gimignano. Situated less than 20 minutes from the highway exit, Florence can also be reached in 40 minutes. The property has been recently restored by the owners who have used it in the past as a summer residence. The outside living spaces and the fenced garden are particularly well maintained and make the property ideal for families with children. On one side of the house there is a covered loggia, furnished for outdoor dining. Ther is a second outdoor dining area with built in barbecue/oven allowing guests to dine in the Tuscan sunshine. The owners have installed a beautiful swimming pool, unusually large for this type of house, in the most panoramic part of the garden.
