Description
Le Rondini is a very special property located on the same estate as La Capinera, one of our most popular houses. It has been recently restored to a very high standard preserving the original Tuscan country style with beamed ceilings and original cotto floors. It is furnished with some antiques and with all modern facilities such as air-conditioning in all bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, stereo system, fax machine, wi-fi connection and satellite TV. A particular feature of this property is the spectacular swimming pool (salted water), without doubt one of the best in our program. As at La Capinera, Le Rondini is a good base to explore Tuscany, being conveniently located only 10 kms from the highway connecting Pisa to Florence. Resident cats in the neighbourhood.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our week at Le Rondini. Erika and her family were delightful and were always available to answer any requests( train schedules) or questions. The property and home were beautiful and immaculately kept. The pictures provided on the website do not begin to bring justice to how beautiful the grounds and the surrounding countryside are. The charming village of Montopoli was also a delight. Our week at Le Rondini was everything we had hoped for when we decided to rent a villa in Tuscany. Thank you for a fabulous experience!

Le Rondini was so much more than we could ever have expected. The owners, Maurizio, Valeria and Erika were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make us welcome -- even to the extent of tracking down luggage that the airline lost. They even guided us to the local grocery store which has great produce and cold cuts as well as everything you would expect from a supermarket. The villa was beautiful and had every convenience that we could require. Even olive oil, condiments and spices were provided -- we imagine that other guests had left some items that they had purchased. The views from the villa were a delight and made us want to explore the local countryside. Getting lost on the back roads was simply fun. However, a GPS is a requirement. The areas for alfresco dining were perfect - we ate outside at every opportunity and had wine by the pool. Montopoli is a beautiful village with surprisingly wonderful restaurants and incredible scenery. It was also perfectly located for day trips to Firenze, Pisa, San Gimignano and the coast.

Ich bin gestern mit meiner Familie aus dem Urlaub zurueck gekommen und will mich, auch in Namen meiner Familie fuer Ihren Service sehr bedanken. Wir hatten eine schoene Zeit in der Villa Le Rondini und unsere Erwartungen von der Villa sind uebertroffen worden. Wenn Sie solche Haeuser auch woanders vermitteln wuerde ich gerne davon wissen. Es ist durchaus moeglich dass wir, wegen der guten Erfahrung wieder durch Sie buchen werden.

We just returned from our vacation in Italy. I just have to tell you, everything about our villa rental was perfect. The villa itself is beautiful and sparkling clean! The grounds were spectacular and the views were breathtaking. The location was perfect for our day trips to Portofino, Florence, Pisa, Chianti and the Cinque Terre. Maurizio and his wife Valeria were wonderful hosts. They could not have been more welcoming or more attentive to our needs. Their daughter Erika was very sweet especially when we needed her translating abilities. The dinners they prepared for us on the terrace were fabulous. We had a great time and really did not want to leave. Without question we recommend Le Rondini to anyone who wants to stay in an beautiful villa in a pretty little untouristy town, Montopoli. Thank you for providing us with a most memorable vacation.

On behalf of the entire family I wanted to drop you a short note and thank you for providing us with such a wonderful place to spend our vacation in Tuscany. The surrounding property, the spacious house and especially the pool turned out to be much nicer than we had expected from just looking at the pictures on the internet. The owners did a great job at providing us with all the necessary information about the house and took excellent care to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The fresh eggs, artichokes and wine were excellent…. They did a marvellous job renovating the house with all comfort imaginable… not to mention the pool and its spectacular view. We had an excellent stay and are already looking into new plans for next year
