La Macchietta ist ein komfortables Anwesen mit privatem Swimmingpool in Panoramalage auf den Hügeln zwischen Lucca und der Camaiore-Küste, umgeben von Olivenhainen, Weinbergen und Kastanienwäldern. Die Lage ist Ideal für diejenigen, die sich in der toskanischen Landschaft entspannen und gleichzeitig die Toskana bequem erkunden möchten.
Das Haus wurde mit Blick auf den Ort eingerichtet, an dem die Gäste die meiste Zeit ihres Urlaubs verbringen würden. Vor dem Haus gibt es eine gemütliche Sitzecke in der Nähe des Schwimmbeckens, einen großen Esstisch, der ideal zum Essen im Freien ist, und einen Grill. Das Schwimmbad befindet sich in einer Panoramalage mit Blick auf das Tal.
Die Eigentümer haben dieses charmante Anwesen mit großer Aufmerksamkeit für seine ursprüngliche Struktur und die lokalen Materialien renoviert. Es gibt viele Innenbereiche, in denen die Gäste ihre Zeit gemeinsam verbringen können. Es gibt ein Wohn-/Buchzimmer im Erdgeschoss und eine große Küche/Ess-/Wohnzimmer im unteren Erdgeschoss mit direktem Zugang zur Terrasse mit Blick auf das Tal, ausgestattet zum Essen im Freien.
Das Haus kann bis zu 7 Gäste aufnehmen. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad, während sich im ersten Stock ein Doppelzimmer, ein Zweibettzimmer und ein Einzelzimmer mit zwei Bädern befinden.

We were 2 families (7 people total) and we stayed for a week in July. The villa was beautiful and comfortable and the kitchen, exceptionally well appointed. Having stayed in more remote villas in Chianti, we felt the location here was ideal for easy day trips to Lucca, the seashore and to pop down the hill for groceries. The view from the villa is gorgeous and the pool is bigger that the pictures imply - and such a welcome respite from the summer heat! A couple of traveller notes that did not detract from our stay in the least but are good to know. As the listing states, there is no AC and 3 of the 4 bedrooms are on the top level, which can get very hot in summer. There are no screens on the windows above the ground level, so opening windows for the cool evening air invites all manner of bugs. Screens on bedroom windows would help improve the situation - and insuring each bed has access to a good strong fan. Patio furniture could use an update. Overall a wonderful location, gorgeous villa and great experience for everyone in our group! The host’s attention to detail is commendable and miss Nadia is lovely. We would highly recommend this property!

We were allowed to spend a fantastic week in Villa la Macchietta! Everything worked wonderfully, from the friendly communication before arrival to the handover on arrival to the problem-free delivery before departure. The house and its garden fully corresponds to the pictures on the internet and leaves nothing to be desired for a carefree week with a large family (we were 7)! If I could improve anything, it would be the gas stove, the settings on the individual hotplates leave something to be desired and the display on the oven is no longer legible, so you're going to be lucky. We had a super great and hot week but due to the fantastic location we were able to sleep well at night due to the cooling! Gladly again!

We have spent two delightful weeks, blessing with good weather, in this splendid house, well equipped and great landscape as others have said. We found the route to San Martino a little challenging at night, when returning from Opera in Montecatini but fortunately was no one coming the other way! Restaurant ‘’Vipore’’ very handy – robust Tuscan fare nicely prepared, will a backdrop of fine time.
