Dieses toskanische Bauernhaus mit privatem Swimmingpool befindet sich in einer der atemberaubendsten Lagen in der Landschaft von Lucca. Vor dem Haus gibt es eine große Terrasse, die für das Essen im Freien eingerichtet ist, ideal um die schöne Umgebung zu genießen. Den Gästen steht ein Holzofen zur Verfügung, der mit Unterstützung des Hausverwalters benutzt werden kann, damit die Reisenden die außergewöhnliche lokale Küche in vollen Zügen genießen können.
Sowohl vom Haus als auch vom großen Swimmingpool aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft mit Olivenhainen und Weinbergen, bis hin zur Stadt Lucca in der Ferne. Das Grundstück liegt in idealer Lage, um die schönen historischen Villen zu besichtigen, für die dieser Teil der Landschaft von Lucca bekannt ist, insbesondere die Villa Reale, in der Elisa Bonaparte, die Schwester Napoleons und Prinzessin von Lucca, wohnte. Dieses Bauernhaus ist auch sehr günstig gelegen, da es einen Brotgeschäft 1 km und ein Restaurant 1,5 km entfernt gibt.
Damit die Gäste ihre Zeit am Pool voll und ganz genießen können, wurde ein Salzwassersystem installiert. Al Giannello bietet Platz für bis zu 8 Gäste; es gibt 4 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer. Das Innere von Giannello wurde unter voller Berücksichtigung der toskanischen Tradition renoviert, wobei die alten Balkendecken und Cotto-Böden in den meisten Räumen erhalten blieben. Dieses Steinhaus ist sehr komfortabel und luftig für eine Gruppe von sechs Reisenden. Das Haus wurde mit Sat-Tv und Wi-Fi ausgestattet, um die Kunden, die ihren Urlaub auf diesem Bauernhof verbringen, besser zu unterstützen.

Giannello is as described, an amazing 1500s farmhouse comfortably furnished for a relaxing holiday. The photos do not do it justice. It is glorious! The kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking and the outdoor table offers an outstanding dining area with a panoramic view. Be prepared for a dramatic drive down to the house from the street. It is a steep twisty hillside gravel path. The location is great for day trips around Tuscany and convenient to food stores. Lorenzo met us at the house and was helpful with any questions we had. You definitely need a car to stay here. You are 20 minutes from Lucca and only 5 minutes by car from a couple of restaurants, but don’t expect to walk. To clarify, there are 4 bedrooms. Three have king sized beds and one has 2 twins. One of the bathrooms is on the first floor. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. 3 bedrooms share one bathroom and one bedroom is en-suite. The rooms are all lovely and comfortable and there is plenty of common space to spread out in. The grounds are stunning and beautifully maintained. The pool is splendid. Loved our stay!

This is really a lovely house at a fantastic location in the hills overseeing the valley of Lucca. Lots of space, great swimming pool and well maintained property...

There is a narrow road leading to the property but after you're there you feel like in a paradise. From the house is stunning view over Lucca valley and neighbours are far enough for quiet and private holiday. Swimming pool is deep and long. Kitchen is real Tuscan style. Big dining table outside was in our use every morning and often in the evenings, too, if we didn't came back very late. Giannello is ideally located pretty close to Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Viareggio and not too far away from Florence. During our two weeks holiday we managed also to see Elba, Siena, Chianti, Porto Venere, Abetone and many other places around. Still we spent time on poolside and enjoyed the stunning views from the house.

We all agreed our stay in Matraia, at Giannello, was the perfect holiday! - The villa was very clean and the beds comfortable. The views were wonderful and the whole experience of staying in Tuscany was fantastic. Before arrival the booking was handled very efficiently and responses were prompt.
