Gli ospiti che hanno soggiornato qui in passato hanno apprezzato la natura circostante e le incantevoli viste sulle colline. La splendida vista può essere apprezzata soprattutto dalla grande piscina che è stata costruita in una zona separata del giardino.
Inoltre, la piscina è stata recentemente dotata di un impianto al sale che evita l'uso di cloro, ideale per chi desidera rilassarsi nell'area piscina, nuotare e godersi l'incredibile vista sulla valle.
Questa confortevole proprietà si trova in posizione ideale a a pochi passi da Palaia, un antico borgo collinare risalente all'anno 1000, che offre oggi tutti i principali servizi, ed è quindi un'oasi ideale per chi cerca una vacanza riposante. Nonostante la sua ineguagliabile posizione tranquilla, Il Rosino Alto è ideale per esplorare la Toscana, essendo a metà strada tra Lucca e Pisa (entrambi a circa 40 km di distanza), e con Firenze e Siena a breve distanza in auto.
La casa è stata costruita nella seconda metà del XIX secolo ed è stata recentemente restaurata mantenendo il carattere della struttura originale, usando materiali tradizionali toscani ma inserendo tutto ciò che può essere necessario per una vacaza in totale relax.. Ha camere spaziose e finestre che si affacciano sulla campagna, Gli interni sono stati arredati in uno stile country elegante e semplice. An absolutely fabulous Villa with a wonderful pool.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Rosino Alto which included a fantastic meal cooked at the Villa by Mamma Stefa.
The Villa is nicely secluded, approached by a fairly long unmade track, but only a 15 minute walk from the lovely village of Palaia with shops, a cafe and some great restaurants.

This house is such a gem! We loved the quiet seclusion with easy access to town. The views were amazing and we felt so relaxed being here. We took ourselves to Montopoli, Pontedera, + a few local wineries. Elena at Usiglian del Vescovo made us feel so welcome. We loved having coffee every morning at the deli. If you have a chance to go to the Osteria del Norcino in Montopoli is a can’t miss dinner. Tank you Filippo for helping make this such an unforgettable week for us.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this magical spot. It was rather hard to wrench ourselves away from the pool and it’s amazing view. But we manage a couple of trips to the villages in the local area. Peccioli was a particular highlight. But we should also give a special mention to Palaia, it’s wonderful and of course the gelato!

2 weeks spent in this beautiful house. Shinning surroundings and excellent pool. Loved the covered area by the pool. Filippo and the cleaner looked after us very well - nothing was too much trouble - thank you both.
Only small issue was emptying the bins but again Filippo helped us.

Family vacation at its best!
We had three generations under this beautiful roof. Two weeks of enjoying the pool, the sunsets, the wildlife (two encounters with a porcupine), ance the spectacular scenery.

Thank you for sharing your home with us fot the last 4 weeks. The weather has been amazing warm, windy, calm evening, heat wave, and the occasional thunder and lighting!
The isolation makes the villa very private and peaceful and we enjoyed many lazy days by the pool!
The village Is friendly, welcoming and quaint. We liked driving up to the main road and walking into town.
Palaia is perfectly placed between Lucca, Pisa and Florence and very close to Lajatico for Teatro del Silenzio.

Our family has spent a wonderful three weeks at Rosino Alto, which is very well situated for visiting Tuscany from Pisa to Florence to San Gimignano, Siena and Volterra. Palaia is an unspoilt, authentic village so typical (in our eyes) of Tuscany and we have really enjoyed our lazy poolside days at the house.

Really nice and great standard. Beautiful view, large pool and high standards. On the negative side the road was a bit bumpy (short though) and there was no air condition. We didn't suffer from heat though, and really loved the place.
