La Gigia è perfetta per coloro che vogliono godersi sia la campagna che il mare durante le loro vacanze. Questa proprietà con piscina privata si trova in una posizione panoramica a poca distanza dal mare in alto sulle colline della costa della Versilia. Si può arrivare a piedi al paese più vicino (Capezzano in Monte) dove si trovano alcuni negozi e un ristorante. Pietrasanta, famosa per le sue attività artistiche e mondane - ci sono oltre 50 gallerie d'arte, boutique alla moda, enoteche ed eventi culturali internazionali come mostre, concerti e festival - è solo 6 km. Inoltre, La Giga è pochi chilometri dalle altre città costiere come Viareggio e Forte dei Marmi e dalla città di Lucca. Le rinomate spiagge della Versilia si trovano a 10 km, con spiagge attrezzate di alto livello e numerosi giardini, negozi, ristoranti, discoteche e locali notturni.
Uno dei punti salienti di questa proprietà è la vista mozzafiato sul mare che si estende dall'Isola d'Elba alle Cinque Terre. Il giardino panoramico e ben curato è attrezzato per rilassarsi, gustare cene all'aperto o sorseggiare un bicchiere di vino godendosi lo splendido tramonto. Di fronte alla casa c'è una piscina a sfioro con sistema a sale e un'invitante terrazza solarium (35 mq) dove godersi il sole. Al fine di rendere la villa il più confortevole possibile, i proprietari hanno dotato di due condizionatori d'aria la terrazza coperta (45 mq, con porte scorrevoli su tutti i lati). Inoltre, in una posizione panoramica con vista sul mare, c'è una zona con barbecue. Su richiesta possono essere organizzati servizi di cucina e serate di pizza durante le quali il cuoco può utilizzare il forno a legna esterno.
La Gigia è stata restaurata utilizzando esclusivamente materiale toscano della zona come pavimenti in cotto, marmo, legno di castagno e tufo locale, inoltre è dotata di elettrodomestici sofisticati ed ecologici come un sistema di riscaldamento geotermico. Gli interni sono luminosi e confortevoli e ogni camera ha il proprio bagno . C'è una lavanderia al piano terra con lavatrice e asciugatrice (7 kg) e un bagno per gli ospiti. La posizione elevata sul mare e lil bosco vicino garantiscono sempre una piacevole brezza anche nelle giornate estive più calde .
Dalla Gigia è possibile organizzare numerose gite giornaliere, visitare siti artistici e turistici, provare ristoranti di ogni genere, ecc. Il team Salogi sarà felice di aiutarvi ad organizzare la vostra vacanza.

The Villa is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views of the city of Peitrasanta below. Some mornings looking out, you are above the clouds. The downside is It is a 20 minute drive to get down the mountain with a lot of hair pin turns on a narrow road, they do have guard rails in some places along the way. They now have enclosed the lower patio with glass/ sliders. I would recommend they put the screens in the sliders. There was a wonderful breeze sitting there with the sliders open but the flys during the day & mosquitoes at night were very annoying. The pool was heavenly to have at the end of the day. The owners were just wonderful, the interior & exterior was beautifully decorated, simple & elegent. You can see they take great pride in sharing their home. I would recommend this home to friends & family

My wife and my guests were pleased to enjoy this beautiful home. I compliment the owner on the tasteful selection of building materials and the high quality of every aspect inside and on the grounds. We were particularly impressed with the landscape plan, and the use of local stone and the intelligent design that is in harmony with the countryside. What an extraordinary place La Gigia is! In a beautiful part of a wonderful country. I will remember the view from the terrace – Pietrasanta + the sea – all my days. The owners have designed and renovated a truly special place in La Gigia – a world of its own yet a part of a even larger beautiful world. Everywhere one turns, there is a small piece of a larger piece – stone, wood, iron, tile, light, flower, planting – to delight the eye – and make one feel to be in a part of heaven. I have enjoyed my stay, my walks into Capezzano Monte, a glorious day in Chianti, and superb food and wine capped by the lovely dinner that Carla Prepared for us. Tante grazie, ciao.

We have stayer at La Gigia for two weeks and we have had an absolutely fantastic holiday! The house us marvellous, not to speak about the view, we have enjoyed lazy days an the terrace and in the pool, as well as exploring the nearly cities if Pisa, Lucca, Viareggio and more. We have been travelling in Italy for quite a few years, but we all agree this has been the first vacation!

What a wonderful Villa!! The views are fantastic, the stay was wonderful. Very comfortable stay. The renovation is first class!!! The drive up and down is quite frightening for us who drive mainly on flat wide roads. But we almost got used to it!
