Podere Bernesca is a stunning property set in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. From the house and from the infinity salted water heated swimming pool , guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside.
The house has been totally restored and furnished to a very high standard with a tasteful combination of antique furniture and modern comforts such as air-conditioning in all rooms (included in the price) and a small gym.

The position of Podere Bernesca is one-of-a-kind. The house is located within an undisturbed wildlife area, respecting the environment and the animals. Nature and fauna lovers will be able to see some rare species of wildlife and listen to the nightingale sing in the evening.

The layout of this villa with private pool makes it the perfect retreat for groups of friends or families looking to spend time together while retaining their privacy. In the main house there are three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and in the annex there is a fourth bedroom with a small kitchenette and private bathroom ideal for those looking for total privacy .

A particular feature of this charming country house is the large open space on the ground floor that includes a kitchen, a large dining table and two sitting areas opening onto the garden as well as on a covered terrace equipped for al-fresco dining. A second sitting room with a fireplace, that can be accessed also from the garden, is located on the first floor.

Despite its secluded position, Podere Bernesca is ideal for those looking to explore Tuscany as well as being a short driving distance from shops, restaurants and wineries. In less than a half a hour drive it is possible to visit some of the most charming and renowned villages of Tuscany such as Buonconvento, Montalcino, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and the thermal town of Bagno Vignoni.
Siena is approx. a 45-minute drive from the house while San Gimignano is a 75-minute away and Florence an hour and a half away.

Last but not least, a great local cook will be happy to support guests with cooking services during their stay (at extra cost).
