La Macchietta is a comfortable property with private swimming pool set in a panoramic position on the hills between Lucca and the Camaiore Coast surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and chestnut woods. The position is ideal for those looking to relax in the Tuscan countryside while being able to easily explore the region.
The house has been furnished thinking of where clients would spend most of their time during their holidays. There is a comfortable sitting area in front of the house, close by the pool, a large dining table ideal for al fresco dining and a barbecue. The swimming pool is located in a panoramic position overlooking the valley.
The owners have restored this charming property with great attention to its original structure and local materials. There are many inside areas where guests can spend their time together. There is a living/book room on the ground floor and a large kitchen/dining/ living room on the lower ground floor with direct access to the terrace facing the valley and equipped for al fresco dining.
The house can sleep up to 7 guests. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom while on the first floor there are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom sharing two bathrooms.

We were allowed to spend a fantastic week in Villa la Macchietta! Everything worked wonderfully, from the friendly communication before arrival to the handover on arrival to the problem-free delivery before departure. The house and its garden fully corresponds to the pictures on the internet and leaves nothing to be desired for a carefree week with a large family (we were 7)! If I could improve anything, it would be the gas stove, the settings on the individual hotplates leave something to be desired and the display on the oven is no longer legible, so you're going to be lucky. We had a super great and hot week but due to the fantastic location we were able to sleep well at night due to the cooling! Gladly again!

We have spent two delightful weeks, blessing with good weather, in this splendid house, well equipped and great landscape as others have said. We found the route to San Martino a little challenging at night, when returning from Opera in Montecatini but fortunately was no one coming the other way! Restaurant ‘’Vipore’’ very handy – robust Tuscan fare nicely prepared, will a backdrop of fine time.
