This 16th century property is an outstanding villa with a private swimming pool restored to a high standard and furnished with many comforts such as air conditioning in all the bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, wi-fi connection and an ozonator for sanitizing. An electric car charging station has also been installed in the parking area.


Villa Igea is ideal for discerning groups, who appreciate high quality comfort in a secluded environment. The property is set in a quiet location, high in the hills northwest of Lucca, with spectacular views over the surrounding scenery. A very well maintained garden encircles the house and a big centuries old oak tree provides a shady area, perfect for “al fresco” meals. On the other side of the villa, there is a charming Italian style garden and a bowling green.

The villa can sleep up to 8 people. There are four air conditioned bedrooms each with its own bathroom in the main house. For larger groups, it is possible to rent Villa Igea 13

This Italian villa is ideally located for those looking to relax in the countryside as well as being able to visit Tuscany and its attractions. The beautiful walled city of Lucca can be reached in approximately a 20-minute drive, the historical villas of Lucca open to visitors can be reached in a 30/40 minute drive and in less than an hour all the main towns of the Versilia coast with their beautiful shops, great restaurants and art exhibitions. Furthermore, there is an extensive list of day trips that clients can do when staying at the villa; from visiting the magnificent monuments in Florence, to enjoying some wine in one of the most renowned wineries in Tuscany or enjoying the wild and unspoiled nature in the Southern part of Tuscany, Maremma.

Cooking services are available on request and the multilingual house manager
is available to support clients during their stay. She lives about 80 meters from the villa but in no way she interferes with the client's privacy. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label.

To remark: The property can be rented for 8 people only in low season. In Mid and high season it is only possible to rent the entire house sleeping 13 people (Villa Igea 13).
The owners have kept two farmhouses on the same estate for their own use that are distant from Villa Igea and not very often occupied.

Cleaning service is included 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.
