The property is ideal for those looking to take day trips and explore the surrounding beautiful villages of Pitigliano, Manciano and Moremerano (all within 20 km) as well as Tuscan main attractions. Furthermore, the renowned seaside area Argentario is approximately an hour drive and there are many wineries in the area where to enjoy wine tastings. This country house has been restored with particular attention to details. It is furnished in an elegant country style and equipped with all modern comforts, including air-conditioning in the bedrooms on the first floor (at extra cost), mosquito nets to all windows, a high-speed internet connection and a well-equipped kitchen. Standout features of the house include the very bright covered veranda, the patio furnished for 'al fresco' dining, and the swimming pool built with the aim of reproducing an old water reservoir. Wine tastings are available in the surroundings. Furthermore, the owner has recently refurbished the interior to make Monte Cavallo an ideal spot where to spend time also during mid-season.
The owners of Monte Cavallo restored the original stone-built farmhouse when they moved to Maremma to start an organic farm - located just 15 minutes away from the property - for the production of natural cosmetics, food supplements and herbal tea cultivating only the Mediterranean flora and autochthon Maremman plants. The beauty of the house has previously been captured and published on Ville e Giardini, a renowned Italian Magazine specialized in country houses and villas.
The property, reachable via a 3 km white road, is located in a very secluded position, reflecting the owners' love for nature and offering breath-taking views over the surrounding countryside.

We had great days at Monte Cavallo in a wonderfull house which is extraordinarilly furnished and makes the stay very comfortable in each regard. The kitchen is exellent equipped. The last part of the road to the house is a little bit difficult and we recommend not to use a lowlying car. The owner and the manager are very kind an unkomplicated. We very much can recommend this house.

I completely forget to mail you about our holiday. I am so sorry. We had an absolutely wonderful time! Everything was perfect...we loved the area, the cleaninglady was so sweet and we took quite a liking to Max the cat as you can see. Please tell the owners we had a lovely time.
