Villa Lorian is an elegant and very comfortable Italian villa with private swimming pool in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, just 11 km away from the stunning Montalcino renowned for the production of one of the most prestigious red wines in the world.
Published in books and magazines, the property is located in a gorgeous setting enclosed by vineyards, cypresses and olive trees, overlooking Monte Amiata and the exquisite hill village of Sant Angelo in Colle, one of the many charming villages of the area. Right in the center of Tuscany , this is a true oasis of peace and an ideal location for sightseeing some of the most breath taking villages of the region: Bagno Vignone, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Pitigliano, Pienza, Siena, Cortona, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Florence etc.
The property is part of the world acclaimed estate of Argiano together with the famous fifteen century Castle of Argiano, where guests can go to enjoy some wine and learn more about this beautiful estate. The owner, Gioetta Gaetani d’Aragona, continues to take great care of her family heritage by producing a limited edition Sangiovese red wine as well as an outstanding olive oil available to guest’s to enjoy during their stay at Villa Lorian.
This villa has a distinctive U-shaped structure and develops around a central patio. The sense of interior space is accentuated by the high vaulted ceilings blended with original terra cotta floors . Villa Lorian was recently restored in total respect of the original building, and it still maintains the historical tradition of its antique elegance. The spacious rooms are comfortably furnished with refined pieces of antiques and beautiful objects. The spacious bedrooms all have air-conditioning (at extra cost) and are equipped with private en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have been equipped with mosquito nets , as well as Wi-Fi all over the house. The property has a beautiful equipped and large private pool surrounded by the green vegetation.
The flourishing well-kept garden, embellished with scented roses, rosemary, and lavender creates the perfect setting area for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. The several outdoor areas, both in the garden and in the internal patio, are furnished for sitting and dining outside. Guests can enjoy seasonal products from the vegetable garden.
On the estate there are 2 resident cats that stay only outside. It is possible to accept pets only if they are accustomed to other animals.

What an amazing week! We absolutely loved the villa, the food, and the wine. All was an experience of a lifetime. We enjoyed Montalcino, a Vespa tour through the Chianti region, visiting the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, the authentic Tuscan cooking class, touring and tasting at the Argiano winery, oh…. We also enjoyed the gelato! What an amazing venue to propose at! We plan on returning someday. Also we would have been lost without Mary!

It was a perfect stay for us in Villa Lorian! the house is, as it is shown in the homepage- great in every aspect! house and garden are very well maintained. we have been there 8 adults and 2 babys. it is place enough for all without disturbing each other. the housekeeping lady, Mery, is perfectly taking care of everything, always friendly and reading wishes from the eyes of the guests.
