Description
La Cecchella is a comfortable and secluded property with private swimming pool located in the North-West countryside of Lucca, between the town and the Versilian coast. The environment is a rural country spot encircled by trees, perfectly kept loans and a veggie garden, making it a perfect place where to relax and live open-air in a totally green contest. The large flat garden is particularly ideal for families with children and the several external areas have been planned to best enjoy al fresco meals and equipped with outdoor comforts including a pizza oven and barbecue.
The interior of the house have been furnished with particular attention to details and to make travellers enjoy their holiday during summer. La Cecchella has been equipped with Satellite home-surrounding televisions, fans, mosquito nets and a Jacuzzi bath. The owner, an Italian Decorator, has restored this stone-built property preserving the Tuscan materials, such as cotto floors and beamed ceiling.
There are 4 bedrooms in the main house; two double bedrooms on the first floor with their private bathroom (shower) and two - one double and one with twin beds - on the top floor sharing a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. At the pool house, ideal for a couple looking to maintain total privacy, there is a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and an open space kitchen opening into the cosy veranda. Guests in the past have particularly benefit from the proximity of the kitchen and the outside dining area to the swimming pool.
The position of La Cecchella is very convenient as it is less than five minute drive from a village with food shops, an ice-cream shop, a newsagent selling international papers and a couple of restaurants while the beautiful city of Lucca is a very short drive away. At easy reach there are also the artsy town of Pietrasanta or the coastal resorts in Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Furthermore, there is an extensive list of day trips that clients can do when staying at the villa; from visiting the magnificent monuments in Florence, to enjoy some wine in one of the most renowned wineries in Tuscany or enjoying the wild and unspoiled nature in the Southern part of Tuscany, Maremma.

Dear Francesca & family,
We hoped for a wonderful autumn vacation week in Tuscany, and our expectations was fully met. The house is absolutely impressive with a very nice garden and nicely decorated inside. Especially the outdoor pizza oven was often used.
Things to do:

- Short trip to the sea
- Hiking in the hills around the village
- Drink a coffee in a remote town

We had the best time staying at this villa after our friends wedding. The villa was a great size for a big group and we had many happy days lazing around the pool and having BBQ's in the evening. The owners were amazingly helpful - we stayed in contact via Whatsapp for any questions (e.g. supermarket recommendations) and they hosted a pizza party for us on the final night using our pizza oven. Really loved it.
