Casa Lula is an ideal property for those looking to enjoy the Tuscan countryside while being close by the seaside . It is walking distance (less than 1km) from the historic town of Camaiore , at the foot of the Apuan Alps, and less than 9km from the sandy beaches of the Versilia Coast. The well-known towns of Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi, famous for smart restaurants, boutiques and night clubs, are also very close. Furthermore, it is 8km from the motorway exit hence perfect for travelers looking to sightsee the Tuscan region with its numerous attractions.
The owner of Casa Lula fell in love with this idyllic location, and bought a ruin that she has now transformed into a holiday base for her family and friends. The restoration was designed by the owner's daughter - a renowned modern architect - who emphasized the light on the spaces rather than trying to keep the original traditional Tuscan style. The property now consists of three different units, a main house and two guest houses, thus making Casa Lula ideal for those looking to holiday together yet enjoying their own privacy.
In the main house there are two (one double and one twin bedroom ) and three bathrooms (one with bath and two with shower - one of which on the lower ground floor). Each of the two independent units consist of a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom (one with shower and the other one with bathtub).
A particular feature of the main house is the large open space including a sitting area with fire-place, a dining area and a large kitchen, all opening on to the garden and a covered veranda ideal for 'al fresco' dining. Guests can also enjoy fresh vegetables and fruits from the vegetable garden and fruit trees kept by a gardener. In front of the main house is the beautiful swimming pool (15 x 4 meters).
