La Gigia is perfect for those who are looking to enjoy the countryside and the seaside during their vacation. This property with private swimming pool is located in a very convenient and panoramic position high in the hills on the Versilia Coast. It is only 6km away from the renowned town of Pietrasanta and walking distant village (Capezzano in Monte) where travelers can find a few shops and a restaurant. Pietrasanta is nowadays considered one of the most elegant and cultural sites in Italy, where visitors may find over 50 art galleries, fashionable boutiques, wine bars and international cultural events such as exhibitions, concerts and festivals.Furthermore, La Giga is a short drive away from other coastal towns such as Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi as well as the city of Lucca. The renowned soft sandy beaches of the Versilia coast are also within 10 km, with high-quality beach equipment and several gardens, shops, restaurants, discos and nightclubs.
One of the main highlights of this property are the breathtaking sea views stretching from Elba Island to the Cinque Terre. These can be enjoyed from the several areas in the well-kept garden where to relax, enjoy al fresco dining or have a glass of wine at sunset. In front of the house there is an infinity swimming pool with salt-water system and an inviting sun terrace (35 sq meters) where to enjoy the sun. In order to make their guests as comfortable as possible, the owners have equipped with two air-conditioners the covered front terrace (45 sq meters, with sliding doors on all sides ). To complement the outdoor life, in a dominating panoramic position over the seas, there is an area with a barbecue. Furthermore cooking services can be organized as well as pizza nights during which the cook can use the outside pizza oven.
La Gigia has been restored using exclusively the typical Tuscan material of the area like cotto floors, marble, chestnut wood and local tufo, yet it is equipped with sophisticated and environmentally friendly appliances such as a geothermal heating system. The interiors are light and comfortable and every bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a laundry room on ground floor with washing machine and dryer (7 kg) and a guest bathroom. The high position above the sea and the nearby forest always guarantee a pleasant breeze even in the hottest summer day.
There are numerous day trips to do, attractions to see, wine tasting to organise, restaurants to try, etc. close by La Gigia. Salogi Team will be happy to support you in the planning of your holiday.

The Villa is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views of the city of Peitrasanta below. Some mornings looking out, you are above the clouds. The downside is It is a 20 minute drive to get down the mountain with a lot of hair pin turns on a narrow road, they do have guard rails in some places along the way. They now have enclosed the lower patio with glass/ sliders. I would recommend they put the screens in the sliders. There was a wonderful breeze sitting there with the sliders open but the flys during the day & mosquitoes at night were very annoying. The pool was heavenly to have at the end of the day. The owners were just wonderful, the interior & exterior was beautifully decorated, simple & elegent. You can see they take great pride in sharing their home. I would recommend this home to friends & family

What an extraordinary place La Gigia is! In a beautiful part of a wonderful country. I will remember the view from the terrace – Pietrasanta + the sea – all my days. The owners have designed and renovated a truly special place in La Gigia – a world of its own yet a part of a even larger beautiful world. Everywhere one turns, there is a small piece of a larger piece – stone, wood, iron, tile, light, flower, planting – to delight the eye – and make one feel to be in a part of heaven. I have enjoyed my stay, my walks into Capezzano Monte, a glorious day in Chianti, and superb food and wine capped by the lovely dinner that Carla Prepared for us. Tante grazie, ciao.

We have stayer at La Gigia for two weeks and we have had an absolutely fantastic holiday! The house us marvellous, not to speak about the view, we have enjoyed lazy days an the terrace and in the pool, as well as exploring the nearly cities if Pisa, Lucca, Viareggio and more. We have been travelling in Italy for quite a few years, but we all agree this has been the first vacation!

What a wonderful Villa!! The views are fantastic, the stay was wonderful. Very comfortable stay. The renovation is first class!!! The drive up and down is quite frightening for us who drive mainly on flat wide roads. But we almost got used to it!
