Le Vigne: Villa with Private Pool and Air Conditioning near Lucca
Le Vigne is a comfortable villa with a private swimming pool and air conditioning on the ground and first floors, ideal for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany. Set just 400 metres from the village of Colle di Compito, it is within easy walking distance of a restaurant, shop, bar, pharmacy and tennis court. The historic centre of Lucca is only a 15-minute drive away, and the nearby motorway exit makes Florence, Pisa and the Versilia beaches easy day trips.
A Lucca Villa for Families and Small Groups
Le Vigne sleeps up to 6 guests across three levels. The air-conditioned ground floor has the kitchen and living room, both opening onto the garden. The air-conditioned first floor has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, sharing a bathroom. The lower ground floor, which is not air-conditioned, has an open-plan space with a billiard table and a twin bedroom with a private bathroom and shower.
Please note that air conditioning is available on the ground floor and first floor only, and not on the lower ground floor.
Travelling as a smaller group? Rent Le Vigne 4, the same villa for up to 4 guests, where the lower ground twin bedroom is not available. All the bedrooms in this version are on the air-conditioned first floor.
Tuscan Character with Modern Comforts
The owners have combined traditional Tuscan features, such as terracotta floors and beamed ceilings, with modern amenities including air conditioning (ground and first floors), satellite TV, a music system and a fully equipped kitchen. You get the charm of a Tuscan farmhouse and a comfortable base in the summer heat.
Private Pool and Fenced Garden: Ideal for Families with Children
The large, flat garden is fully fenced, making this a safe choice for families with young children. The covered veranda, with outdoor seating and a dining table, overlooks the private pool so you can relax while keeping an eye on the little ones. The pool can be heated on request (extra cost), which makes Le Vigne a good option for spring and autumn stays as well as high summer.
Exploring Lucca and Tuscany
Lucca is famous for its intact 16th-century walls, medieval streets and Renaissance landmarks. The surrounding countryside offers the annual Camellia Exposition, summer sagre (traditional food festivals), picturesque medieval hamlets, ancient towers and Romanesque churches. Florence, Pisa and the Versilia coast are all within easy reach.

TOURIST TAX
Tourist tax is applied in most Italian municipalities. This tax is by law to be fully paid by the holidaymakers. The amount varies from municipality to municipality and it must be paid upon arrival directly to the caretaker /owner. Unfortunately, the amount may be subject to change even after the booking is confirmed.
HEATED POOL
The swimming pool can be heated on request at extra charge of € 750 per week. It takes a few days to heat the pool therefore we ask you to let us know in advance if you would like the pool to be heated for your arrival. The extra cost must be requested before your arrival.

Two lovely weeks here at Le Vigne. Wonderful house and garden and pool. We have visited Vinci, Pisa and Lido di Camaiore, Buti and Monte Forato. Several local trails/tracks have been explored and experienced. Beautiful landscape and rich fauna. Wonderful and many beautiful flowers and trees (which don’t grow in Norway)… We understand that we need more than two weeks to explore all that Tuscany has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Wonderfull house and garden. Beautiful surroundings with lots of hiking possibilities. Car Needed. Very tidy and clean. Overall excellent. Lots of hiking trails in the nearby area. Beautiful landscape/scenery. Good butcher nearby. Otherwise need car to get grocery.

Im Le Vigne haben wir uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl gefühlt. Dies vor allem, da es sehr sauber ist und gut unterhalten. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr gepflegt. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Ort ist zwar nicht "turistisch" aber sehr gut gelegen um nach Lucca, Pisa, Siena etc. zu fahren. Wir würden dieses Haus wieder mieten. Das Haus ist gross und sehr hell und freundlich eingerichtet. *** In Le Vigne we felt very comfortable from the first moment. This is because it is very clean and above all well maintained. The grounds are well kept. Local support is helpful and friendly. The place is not "turistic" but very well located to go to Lucca, Pisa, Siena etc.. We would rent this house again. The house is big and very bright and friendly.
