For those enjoying the nature, it is possible to organise a guided tour with a ranger. Groups in the past have particularly appreciated this activity as they were able to admire hares, rabbits, boars etc.

Villa di Montegemoli is an ancient residence which belongs to the same noble family since the 19th century and has seen various renovations, conserving a mix of ancient beauty and modern comfort. This Tuscan villa with private pool is part of an extensive estate of about 1200 hectares (2.400 acres), which also includes an ancient castle with its village. Clients particularly enjoyed being walking distance from a restaurant(a ten minute walk) : one of the most appreciated trattorias of the area. The Village of Montegemoli is very charming and it boasts a rich history, being also the birthplace of Dante Alighieri's mother, which makes it a touristic destination itself.

Montegemoli is particularly convenient for sightseeing. Within 30 minutes driving from this beautiful Tuscan villa, it is possible to reach the famous artistic town of Volterra, as well as the beaches and wine destinations around Bolgheri, famous worldwide for its excellent wines and oil among which the Sassicaia and Ornellaia wine production (there are more than 50 producers in the area to be visited). Furthermore, to reach San Gimignano it takes less than one hour drive while Siena and Pisa are around at one hour drive; Florence and Lucca instead can be reached in around one and a half hours.

The Villa was built on three floors and the ground floor is reserved to the staff, who takes care of the property and its guests. The interiors offer wide rooms furnished in a classic style with pieces of antiques belonging to the family for generations. Spending a holiday in Villa di Montegemoli is like taking a leap in the past with an authentic retro and relaxing atmosphere, with the option of having a small touristic Village at walking distance.

Property cleaning

Resident guardians provide cleaning and cook service for breakfast and dinner, 5 days a week. The cleaning service and cooking service are included in the rental price 5 days a week. The cleaning service is 4 hours per day. Continental breakfast and dinner are prepared 5 days per week - please note, the cost for the grocery and the shopping service is not included.

Second floor: Twin bedroom and single bedroom sharing a bathroom (shower); 3 twin bedrooms, kids bedroom with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and separate shower and one with bathtub).

All twin beds can be joined together.
