Description
La Capanna is a comfortable Tuscan property with private swimming pool part of the Montelopio hamlet . Just outside the estate, there is a bar bruschetteria very loved by travelers and approximately 100m away there is a traditional restaurant called Cantina di Seravalle where to enjoy excellent local food. The closest village is Fabbrica (2km) where guests can find food shops, bars,etc. A very short drive away there is also the charming medieval village of Peccioli where there are 2 supermarkets.
It is the perfect home for travelers looking to enjoy a laid-back atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside. From the house and the garden guests can relax and enjoy views of the surrounding area with the characteristic colors of cypresses, olive trees and vineyards. The fenced swimming pool, ideal for families with young children, is located a brief walk away from the villa in a very peaceful position.
This farmhouse can host up to 12 guests. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds, on the ground floor while on the first floor there are two suites each composed of sitting room with fireplace, double bedroom, a twin bedroom, bathroom (shower).
La Capanna is a great property for golf players as the medieval village of Castelfalfi, with its renowned 18-hole golf course, is just a 15 minute drive away. For music lovers, the village of Lajatico famous for its Teatro del Silenzio (Bocelli) is approximately half an hour away. Furthermore, the famous Tuscan cities and towns of Volterra, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena are easily accessible from the property.

The villa was quite basic but absolutely fine as most of the time was spent outside in the beautiful gardens and pool area. The outside terrace area was perfect for al fresco dining. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. There was a little bar/grocery shop just a few mins walk which was very handy indeed. We saw incredible butterflies, dragonflies, bats, hummingbirds and snakes!! An idyllic holiday in a beautiful part of the world.
