Description
La Loggia is a beautiful country house with private swimming pool set among olive groves and vineyards on the hills east of Lucca. It is close to a village with shops and restaurants (3km approximately) and less than half an hour drive from the city center of Lucca.
A particular feature of the main house, probably dating back to the 13th century, is a beautiful open loggia offering glorious views of the surrounding valley. Here guests have particularly loved having their meals while enjoying the panoramic views.
The owner, an architect and designer by profession, furnished the property with period furniture while maintaining the character of the original structure. The property is ideal for groups of friends looking to spend their time together while retaining their privacy.
The property is composed of a very old stone-built house and its guest house sleeping up to 13 guests. From both buildings can be enjoyed stunning views. The main house sleeps 7 people while the guest house can host up to 6 guests. In the main house there is on the ground floor the master bedroom with a 4-poster bed and en-suite bathroom (Jacuzzi bath) while on the first floor there is a suite with a double bedroom, a single bedroom and en-suite bathroom and a second suite bedroom with twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub). In the guest house all the bedrooms have air-conditioning (fan-coil units) at extra cost. The guest house has three independent apartments, all of them with a bedroom (one large twin bedroom, one with a double lofted bed and another with a double bedroom. All apartments have an outside dining area.

During low season it is possible to rent La Loggia also for 9 people (La Loggia 9)

Small independent apartment composed of a sitting room with a double lofted bed opening onto the courtyard and a bathroom (shower).

The amount varies from municipality to municipality and it must be paid upon arrival directly to the caretaker /owner. Unfortunately, the amount may be subject to change even after the booking is confirmed.

We were a large family who occupied all bedrooms. Hence it was perfect with the bedrooms split between two houses. The house was well equipped with fans to help keep us cool. The house was of great standard and the house manager (Luca) assisted fast and correct each time we reached out.
