Macennere è un suggestivo casale Toscano con piscina privata, situato in una posizione isolata sulle colline di Lucca ideale per i clienti che desiderano avere una completa privacy durante le loro vacanze. I clienti che hanno soggiornato a Macennere hanno particolarmente apprezzato la tranquillità e il bel nel giardino circondato da uliveti e alberi da frutto. Durante il mese di maggio, il prato di fronte alla casa si copre di lavanda in fiore creando un'atmosfera suggestiva.
Situata a Forci, una delle zone più belle della campagna lucchese e immersa nella natura, il suo giardino è stato strutturato per poter godere appieno ogni suo angolo. Sotto la veranda c'è un comodo tavolo rotondo e un barbecue in muratura. Di fronte alla casa c'è una piacevole area dove rilassarsi, parlare, leggere o bere un bicchiere di vino. Inoltre, la piscina è insolitamente lunga (14m x 4m) ed è l'ideale per chi desidera nuotare durante la vacanza.
Nonostante la sua posizione appartata, la proprietà dista solo 15 km in auto dalla splendida città di Lucca con le sue numerose attrazioni, ristoranti e meravigliose mura che la circondano da dove si può ammirare al città dall'alto. Lucca è un'ottima base per coloro che desiderano esplorare la Toscana in quanto si trova a breve distanza in auto dalla Costa della Versilia, da Pisa, da Firenze, ecc.
Gli interni della casa sono stati arredati con la stessa attenzione e molto gusto. I proprietari hanno fatto un incredibile lavoro unendo ai materiali toscani, dei bellissimi pezzi unici nel loro genere provenienti da tutto il mondo creando un'atmosfera speciale, per questo Macennere è stata pubblicata su riviste rinomate come "The World of Interiors" e la rivista "The Times".
La casa può ospitare fino a 10 persone. Al piano terra c'è una grande camera da letto con bagno privato, mentre al primo piano ci sono due camere matrimoniali entrambe con letto a baldacchino e bagno e due camere doppie che condividono un bagno.
Gli ospiti che soggiornano a Macennere possono assaggiare le freschissime verdure dell'orto situato sul retro della casa.
Si prega di notare che la strada di 1,5 Km, che porta alla casa, non è adatta per auto con sospensioni basse o per guidatori inesperti

BEAUTIFUL! After recovering from road to the house we opened up all the shutters and there it was... this beautifully decorated house with all the little corners and stairs and views. And the swimming area, wow! We had a perfect lovely week here with our friends and family. The kitchen is amazing and the housekeeper Marinella... she is GOLD! She made us dinner 2 evenings and were blown away by her food and personality. We loved everything and hopefully will come back!

Villa Macennere was a dream. The villa was perfect in every way, the bedrooms, bathrooms were all huge and great quality. The kitchen was a dream to cook in with everything you could ever need to make a fantastic meal. We were so lucky to be able to use the veggie garden everyday for our cooking, we couldn’t have asked for a better villa. The pool was amazing. The scenery breathtaking. The house manager, Marinella, is amazing and so helpful, she made our stay unforgettable and she is the most fantastic cook. The only downside is the road to the Villa, which was really quite tough.

Das Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir waren uns einig, daß dies das schönste und am liebevollsten eingerichte Haus war, in dem wir bis jetzt waren. Alles bis ins letzte Detail gestylt, aber doch wohnlich. Individuell mit allen Küchenutensilien, wie sie vorhanden sind, wenn der Besitzer darin selber wohnt. Aufteilung der Schlafzimmer fast gleichwertig mit liebevollen Bädern. Mit eigenem Gemüsegarten zur Benutzung und liebevoller Betreung durch 2 Gärtner und Putzfrau. Man darf sich allerdings nicht durch die Zufahrt schrecken lassen, die doch ziemlich zeitaufwändig ist. Diese Abgeschiedenheit macht natürlich auch den besonderen Reiz aus, glaubt man doch in seiner eigenen Welt zu sein. Für große Besichtigungstouren ist die Anfahrt eher abschreckend, was für uns kein Problem war...... slow down!! Haben abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade eine Wanderung am Rande bzw. drch. die Steinbrüche von Carrara unternohmen. Mit klapprigen Bus von Carrara nach Trano und zu Fuß über die Berge zurück nach Carrara.

The house at Macennere is spectacular - intentionally rustic, totally comfortable and charming . . . and we could have stayed forever. The driveway is a bit intimidating, but worth the trip. The grounds of the house are equally spectacular. We were content to spend the evenings at the house preparing dinners that included fresh produce from the gardens and fruit trees. The kitchen has everything we needed (including a pasta maker) and the wood burning outdoor grill worked wonders. Bedrooms are large and the beds very comfortable with plenty of privacy for our group of 3 couples, a single and 2 teens. The location in the hills was just what we wanted - - very much away from everything. I hope we will be able to return some day!!
