Villa Camporempoli

  Tuscany, Chianti, Siena, Lucarelli

  •   9+1 Sleeps
  •   6  Bedrooms
  •   5  Bathrooms

Description

Camporempoli is a charming farmhouse with private pool set in one of the most panoramic positions in the Chianti Classico, close to Siena. From its secluded location the views are absolutely stunning, with all the windows framing a picture of the lovely Chianti countryside at its best.
The owners have restored the property at a high standard with respect to its Authentic Tuscan Style while tastefully furnished with ethnic furnishings and antiques.

The house is laid out around the internal patio where there is a beautiful vine-covered pergola with a marble table ideal for al-fresco dining. The living area all open via French windows onto the garden on one side and the patio on the other, making the rooms full of light as well as well-ventilated.
To the front of the house, the furnished terraces provide the perfect spot for enjoying the magnificent views. On this side, there is the beautiful swimming pool with overflow effect, in a particularly panoramic position. The swimming pool is ideal for families travelling with children as it has a large shallow end.

The secluded position of Camporempoli is perfect for those looking to relax in a stunning setting. The closest village is 5/10 minute drive from the house; here guests will be able to buy local cheese and charcuterie, shop at a small grocery store, eat at local renowned trattoria or at a restaurant. The main villages, with more amenities are a few kilometres further (Radda in Chianti is approximately 10 minutes away and Panzano less than 15 minute drive). For those looking to see the main Tuscan cities and their artistic heritage, Siena is less than an hour drive while Florence is an hour and fifteen minutes approximately. Close to this farmhouse there are many wineries, Salogi team will be happy to support you in the planning of your wine tastings.

In order to enable guests to fully enjoy their summer holiday, there is barbecue available to guests as well as a ping pong table.

To the rear of the property, is a converted barn where the housekeeper lives. There is a 1 km unmade driveway leading to Camporempoli which has been mostly paved in order to make it more easily accessible.

Guest Reviews for Camporempoli

Fantastic house. After a steep but manageable, partly unpaved road (approximately 1000m) you arrive at this completely detached building. Views as you imagine Tuscany. Everything is nice about this accommodation, including the super sweet and helpful manager.

It was a beautiful villa with amazing views over the vineyards. Every necessity was provided and overall we felt very well cared for. The housekeeper was very kind and attentive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We received a very warm welcome. The outdoor areas were beautiful and well kept and the pool was great as well.

The villa was everyone’s favorite part of the trip. Our host/housekeeper made the week easy and super special. She waited up for us the first night to serve us a three course meal. She made suggestions for our day trips. The villa itself and the setting were spectacular.

We had a great time at the villa. Everything was exactly as described. The property was beautiful. We had the best views. Mariana was a wonderful cook and attended to every need. Never had such a great experience before as we did here. Mariana is a great cook and prepared a few meals for us. Max her sweet dog was also fun to play with in the yard. We will definitely be back again!

The house is beautiful with lots of charming features and the most amazing views. The swimming pool was perfect with good sized shallow areas for our kids and a deep area which allowed for plenty of jumping/diving. The local area is filled with countless fantastic restaurants, shops and vineyards all seemingly with very friendly people. The housekeeper (Mariana) was very friendly and extremely helpful (she cooked one night for us and even helped when our hire car had a puncture!) and helped us to have a very relaxed holiday. We were there during extremely hot weather (40 degrees!) luckily most of the house is very airy / cool and the windows have fly nets which can be pulled down so windows can be open without insects getting in. There were plenty of fans and it was fine despite the record temperatures and there being no air conditioning. I’m sure we will be back in future!

A wonderful relaxing stay at a beautiful villa

This was our 3rd stay at Camporempoli. It is a beautiful villa with fantastic views. It is conveniently located between Radda and Panzano and close to many wonderful vineyards. I can't say enough about the housekeeper Marianna. She went above and beyond for us. We hope to some day return to our favorite villa in Tuscany.

Beautiful villa and wonderful housekeeper

We have just returned from 30 days in the Tuscan hillsides. We rented 2 villas through Salogi, Villa Le Rondini and Villa Camporempoli. Camporempoli was truly truly magical. It is close to 800 years old and has been lovingly maintained. These grounds overlooked the Tuscan hillside and were breathtaking. The villa was lovely, the bedrooms comfortable and the patio was magnificent. Camporempoli also came with a caretake Marianna who answered our every need. She cleaned, cooked a few great meals, did some laundry and was always looking how best to serve us. This location was also a great place to visit Radda, Greve, Montalcino, Montpulciano and many more. We have traveled extensively internationally and our 30 days in these 2 villas was one of our best trips ever. We will employ Salogi Villas again...they were trustworthy, professional and true to their word. Thanks for the memories..they will last a lifetime. The Stuart Family Dallas, Texas

Camporempoli was absolutely wonderful from start to finish - perfect for the little children as well as adults - especially for me because of the splendid kitchen. (You may remember I'm so serious about cooking I travel with my own knives) . The Sunday market at Panzano set us up brilliantly so I cooked a LOT.
But a lot of the happiness at Camporempoli was down to Mariana whom we absolutely loved and appreciated and with whom we pretty much became friends from the outset.
The ONE thing you should advise renters about - but which is of course none of your fault - is the absolute nightmare returning cars to Florence Airport, where there are no signs (well actually one very small one) directing people to the drop off point - which is some way off from the airport forecourt and down an improbablu small alley. People should really be well warned in advance and given proper GPS/Satnav coordinates - it took us around an HOUR to find the place and it's very easy to find yourself by accident back on the autostrada! I expect you've heard the same story from others. As I say this was absolutely NOT your responsibility - we didnt rent through you - but I think it would be a great kindness to renters who might be leaving via Florence to alert them in advance.
I'm sure we'll be back at Camporempoli !

with thanks for your kind, thoughtful and efficient help

We have just got back from our holiday. Overall it was great .
The villa itself was great and the housekeeper was superb.

Thank you for all you have done for us and for the rest of "mighty 10". We enjoyed ourselves and did not want to go home for at least another week. The villa was what we hoped for plus more.
We hope to be back soon!

I've stayed in all kinds of accommodations all over the world, from five-star hotels to airbnbs. This was our second time at unforgettable Camporempoli, because there's no doubt in my mind that this is the most beautiful villa in Tuscany. The view is absolutely gorgeous, the bedrooms large and comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, the kitchen huge and filled with light. The home is relaxed yet elegant, an ancient farmhouse with super-thick walls and an incredible view of the half the When we were not exploring the countryside, my adult children spent their time lounging by the pool. We went to cooking classes and to the small spa in Radda. Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti are some of our favorites and aren't far, but we've seen them all, and thus prefer finding tiny new village experiences -- we explored the monastery and had dinner at Badia a Contibuono etc. Salogi provides a seamless vacation, with groceries stocked on request, detailed driving instructions, and recommendations for superb chefs who will cook at the villa (HIGHLY recommend). The drive uphill takes time but that's the price of the view. The current housekeeper is gem who'll make your stay even more relaxing. We've used Salogi both times we stayed here and highly recommend Simona. We'll be back!!

truly memorable family celebration. Even the weather surpassed all forecasts! The views from every window; the calls of the cuckoo and hope in the early morning; the falling figs and popping spurge; the wild boar with 'piglet' running into the wood; the bee orchids and vetch all enjoyed in complete peace and tranquillity. The house and facilities were a delight with the log fire each evening to round off a perfect day. Also Mariana was a wonderful housekeeper and looked after us all so well.” - Nothing to complain about at all. just perfect.

Villa Camporempoli was exactly as advertised. The setting and views are breathtaking. Villa was clean with good linens and plenty of towels. Marianna, the on property caretaker was very helpful with our questions about the villa and restaurant options. We arrived late and she arranged for a local restaurant to serve us past normal business hours. She was wonderful. One word of caution about the 1.1 km. long drive. It is gravel, steep and curvey, Had to use 1st gear all the way up. Not for the timid but worth it and we very well may return next season. This is my family's fourth villa rental and we have to say villa Camporempoli is our favorite. Panzano, Luccarelli, Radda and Greve are a short drive away.

My family and I enjoyed our week in Camporempoli very much. We will carry back many fond memories of our sunny days in the beautiful Chianti countryside. Thank you for the kind gifts of Tuscan products. We enjoyed them very much. Our house maid, Mariana, was very helpful and friendly. She made our stay easy and enjoyable. The house, garden, and pool were in perfect condition. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation. We hope to return to Cammporempoli or one of your other properties again soon.

This place is wonderful. The scenery was idyllic - a hidden gem. We went with extended family and there was enough room to get some peace on your own when needed but great space to get together. We had maid service and she wonderful, friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

All of us had a lovely week at Camporempoli. The villa was everything that you described and more. Mariana was a great treasure; opinion in our group was divided between those who wanted to invite her back to the USA with us vs. those who simply wanted to throw her into a sack and drag her back. The wifi worked well. And it was an additional treat to find a music system that would play music from an iPod. Someone had gone to a great deal of trouble to cure the generous allotment of firewood we found.

We studied the Salogi catalog for our first foray at renting in Italy. It came down to six "finalists". We gambled on Camporempoli as it was featured as "the best view in Tuscany". Salogi had it right. A decade on, we have not missed a year. The country style house has a wonderful pool with a panorama to die for, fully functional kitchen, lots of space for family or guests, and a decor that blends the gardens, rustic stone and creature comforts in perfect balance. Dawn to dusk, we are transfixed by the play of light on the vineyards and ancient villas across the valley. A spot you'll never forget.

We have just had the most lovely autumn visit to Camporempoli very near the lovely town of Radda in Chianti on the road towards Florence - turn left and up and up you go over the brand-newly cemented steeper bits of the private road to arrive almost on the top of a hill at Camporempoli and you are rewarded with what must be the most sensational view of any villa in Tuscany...vineyards and olive groves with little villages perched on their crests all the way to the horizon. Amazing views from every window and the terrace along the house with a sweet snug piazza surrounded by flowers behind the property, both with tables and chairs for al fresco eating. - Every room is beautifully and tastefully decorated making it a pleasure to stay there and just not move, even out of the summer season. Having said that there are some delightful places to explore nearby, like San Sano and Volpaia and perfect walks through the countryside with fine restaurants open even in November. We felt well looked after and spoiled by the staff, we couldn't be happier with the property and hope to come back next year for another restful and delightful holiday.

Our stay in this lovely house together with another couple was a blissfully peaceful week, marked by great meals cooked in the very well-equipped kitchen, walks in the hills and reading by the fire in the evening. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the whole house beautifully decorated. There was not an abundance of hot water, but as long as only one person showered at a time it was fine. The drive is steep, but the newly-cemented corners made it more than possible for our rented Fiat Punto. And autumn in Tuscany is brilliant!

____________ The 180° view from the garden at Camporempoli dominates the valley and Chianti hills, the little hamlets and the vineyards and olive groves. Charme, autenticity and refined country taste characterize this villa that imparts, through the objects, the photos and the library, the story of its owners. We were a working team spending a week here, and among the good wine, the wonderful barbecue with the best Tuscan meat and the time by the pool we got the best inspiration for our project. Further than relaxing you can chose to do beautiful walks riding a horse, or cultural trips to Siena or Florence. Recommended also for families. (translation from the French by Salogi)

What a beautiful villa, great location, the pool is gorgeous. Marta did an amazing job--it was always immaculate. My only recommendation would be screens for windows or at least the green "screen-like" things that were in some of the windows. The bugs were challenging at night and around the pool--particularly the bees but otherwise it was fabulous and i would absolutely recommend this house to others. Really wonderful.

It did take us a while to find the villa. However, it soon became apparent that this perfect location offered tranquility and a really peaceful, relaxing holiday; with fabulous local markets a few minutes drive away. The local produce was delicious and we found probably the best bakery and butcher ever in the village of Rada in Chianti. The proximity to the beautiful towns of Sienna and Florence meant everyday we were spoilt for choice on things to do and see. The view from the villa is amazing, when you look out from the infinity pool you feel so at peace. There was a very sweet maid that came in often to keep the place clean and help prepare food. The many large rooms offered pleasure and comfort for everyone in my family. I would certainly recommend this to any family looking for a fantastic holiday, a week never to be forgotten.

This beautiful house and area are incomparable. The lovely stone house has six bedrooms including a wonderful turret with 360 degree views perfect for children. We had my husband's extended family and all were happily accommodated. Bedrooms are each individually and tastefully decorated. The staff keeps the house and grounds beautifully. The infinity pool looks over an amazing view of the vineyards, forests, and medieval town on the hill opposite. Dining can be alfresco or inside. A lovely Tuscan fireplace makes for romantic warmth even on chilly nights. The driveway that gets you up to this spectacular setting is paved at any steep areas making it easily driven. The surrounding area is dotted with numerous medieval towns, each with at least one outstanding restaurant, Coop shopping, and arts and craft shops. Greve hosts an authentic and comprehensive market of local goods and produce on Saturdays. With Sienna only 1/2 hour away and Florence 55 minutes (Italian bus system is amazing) one never runs out of things to do. Cooking schools, wine tours, sightseeing tours are all available in the area. My personal preference is sitting at the house soaking in the amazing beauty.

Really beautiful villa in a very scenic property. We loved the views and the villa itself. The gravel road to the villa was a bit hard to navigate, but nothing that was too difficult.

We enjoyed our stay in Camporempoli very much! The villa is beautiful, the view impressive, the landscape really nice and the house and garden very well cared for by Marta and the gardener. We enjoyed the pool and also cooking was easy because of the well equipped kitchen. The service was perfect, there is nothing left, you could wish for.
