Welkom bij La Castagnara, een charmante boerderij met een privézwembad, gelegen op een prachtige panoramische locatie in de heuvels tussen Lucca en Camaiore. Deze accommodatie biedt rust en een prachtig uitzicht en is de perfecte uitvalsbasis om Toscane te verkennen terwijl je geniet van een vredig verblijf op het platteland.

De villa beschikt over twee uitnodigende eetruimtes in de buitenlucht, ideaal om al fresco te dineren terwijl je geniet van de serene omgeving. Prachtig huis met mooie tuin, ruim terras en zwembad. Het zicht is adembenemend. De eigenaars wonen aan de andere zijde van het gebouw, zijn zeer vriendelijk en discreet. Absolute aanrader.

Wir waren Ende Juni mit 8 Personen in La Castagnara. Es hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen: Das Haus bietet viel Platz, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Grundstück lädt zum Verweilen am Pool oder auf einem der schönen Sitzplätze ein, die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und diskret - jeder zusätzliche Wunsch oder Frage wurde sofort beantwortet. Einmal durften wir die Kochkünste von Paola genießen. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind phänomenal. Gerne kommen wir wieder einmal.

Large and fully equipped house with plenty of space for 8 adults. Fantastic location with beautiful views. Lovely swimming pool. Ideal for trips to Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Florence and coastal towns. Lovely owners who prepared an exquisite Tuscan dinner for us.

We rented La Castagnara for a full week in June 2021. The place is beautiful with a great view of the Tuscan hills. The road to get there is not the easiest (very steep and narrow) but it is so much worth it ! The house is large, very clean; the bathrooms are beautiful. The house (kitchen...) and the garden (swimming pool, deck chairs) are very well equipped. We were very kindly welcomed by Paola and Giuliano, the owners, who also prepared a delicious meal for us. During the whole week they were always present to answer our requests. A big thanks too to Ginevra of the real estate agency Salogi in Lucca who was very reactive and always there for us. The place was a good "starting point" to visit all the surrounding area (the seaside, Pietrasanta, Lucca, Firenze...). May be next time we will choose to stay in the wonderful garden by the pool resting and admiring the exceptional view on the tuscany hills. A very nice vacation ! A great house, in a stunning location. Views are breathtaking. A very quiet, and peaceful place to relax, close to Lucca, but at the same time very rural. The house is very traditional, but with charming touches. There are several different areas to sit, and also to eat, and each has a lovely view. Two of the bedrooms are together, and share a bathroom - so ideal for a family. The other two rooms, are quite seperate, with their own bathrooms. Very comfortable layout for different families, or generations. One issue to mention - there are a lot of stairs - so may not be ideal for all families. The owners, Paola and Giuliano, live in the other half of the house, but their property is entirely screened off. You therefore get all the benefits of them being able to help if small issues arise. Two of our party speak Italian, but I think otherwise it would be a case of relying on Google translate, as they don't speak English. Paula cooks delicious, local meals. We would definitely recommend them.
