Villa Chiodo is een prachtige stenen villa met een privézwembad, perfect gelegen in de schilderachtige heuvels tussen Lucca en Pisa. De villa ligt op slechts 1,5 km van het charmante dorpje Vorno, waardoor je gemakkelijk toegang hebt tot lokale winkels en restaurants, terwijl je omringd bent door het rustige platteland met zijn olijfboomgaarden. Deze unieke locatie combineert het gemak van de nabijheid van de stad – Lucca ligt op slechts 10 km afstand – met de rust van een Toscaans verblijf op het platteland.

Villa Chiodo is onlangs gerestaureerd en combineert op harmonieuze wijze het traditionele karakter van een Toscaanse boerderij met modern design en luxe. Aan elk detail is gedacht om comfort en stijl te garanderen, van de hoogwaardige inrichting tot de volledig uitgeruste keuken. Elke slaapkamer is voorzien van airconditioning (draagbare, zelfstandige unit) en heeft een eigen privébadkamer, wat zowel privacy als gemak biedt.
De eigenaren van de villa, doorgewinterde reizigers in Toscane, hebben het pand voorzien van alles wat ze zelf ooit zochten in een vakantiehuis, inclusief een betrouwbare en snelle internetverbinding.

Een met een pergola overdekte eettafel in de voortuin nodigt gasten uit om te genieten van maaltijden in de open lucht terwijl ze genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht op de vallei beneden. Het terrein is prachtig onderhouden en het panoramische zwembad van de villa is een echt hoogtepunt. Villa Chiodo ligt perfect om de hoogtepunten van Toscane te verkennen. De historische steden Lucca (10 km) en Pisa (25 km) liggen vlakbij, terwijl de glamoureuze Versilia-kust, bekend om zijn strandresorts, op slechts een klein eindje rijden ligt. Florence, met zijn wereldberoemde kunst en architectuur, ligt op 74 km van de villa. The amount varies from municipality to municipality and it must be paid upon arrival directly to the caretaker /owner. A lovely quiet property in a beautiful setting just out of Vorno. Very handily placed for Lucca and the coast. The pool area is great, the dining area looks over the hills, and the bedrooms are large as is the kitchen. Daily cleaning service was a great bonus! The hosts communicated very well in advance and while we were there.

We came back yesterday from a wonderful week at Chiodo. I think it is the most beautiful house I have ever stayed in. All the rooms were so tasteful and comfortable and with stunning bathrooms, a great kitchen and gorgeous pool we had absolutely no complaints.
