Casa dei Lentischi is een charmante villa met privézwembad, gelegen in het ongerepte zuiden van Sardinië.
De villa ligt op 1,5 km afstand van Porto Pino, midden in een prachtig uitgestrekt dennenbos. De omgeving staat bekend om zijn prachtige 4 km lange baai met zandstranden en majestueuze witte duinen die de blauwe kleur van de glinsterende zee nog beter tot zijn recht laten komen. Aan het einde van de baai ligt een volledig ongerept strand dat deel uitmaakt van een militair gebied en alleen in de zomer toegankelijk is. Een bijzondere attractie zijn ook de verschillende vijvers in de omgeving, waar je prachtige roze flamingo's kunt bewonderen die het natuurlijke plaatje van unieke schoonheid compleet maken. Sommige stranden zijn voorzien van schaduwrijke plekken en bieden diverse voorzieningen, zoals bootverhuur en kiosken.
Casa dei Lentischi ligt op één niveau op een afgelegen plek, omgeven door de karakteristieke mediterrane macchia, rijk aan groene vegetatie, en biedt vanaf verschillende punten op het terrein een adembenemend uitzicht op zee. Het huis heeft toegang tot twee kleine zandstranden tussen de rotsen – één op slechts 100 meter en de andere op 700 meter afstand – die in tegengestelde richtingen liggen, waardoor je altijd beschermd bent tegen de typische Sardijnse winden. Het interieur heeft een traditionele Sardijnse uitstraling en is ingericht in een eenvoudige maar elegante kuststijl. Alle slaapkamers hebben een eigen badkamer en de meeste hebben directe toegang tot een overdekt terras, waardoor elk stel volledige privacy heeft. Het grootste overdekte terras biedt een gemeubileerde zit-/eethoek met een grote barbecue (aan de achterkant van de portiek), ideaal voor maaltijden in de buitenlucht. Op het terras is een klein maar gezellig zwembad aangelegd, ideaal om te ontspannen en te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op zee. Het zwembad kan op verzoek worden omheind om het veilig te maken voor kinderen.
Voor wie graag dit prachtige deel van Sardinië wil verkennen, ligt de villa op een ideale locatie voor sightseeing: verschillende bekende bezienswaardigheden zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken, zoals Sant'Antioco en het eiland Carloforte, de prachtige verlaten mijnen van Masua en Piscinas en verschillende archeologische vindplaatsen zoals die van Montessu en Pula.
De accommodatie biedt ook de mogelijkheid om tegen meerprijs een privé-rubberboot te huren met de hulp van een lokale schipper, waardoor je de prachtige onbewoonde kusten en stranden rond Capo Teulada kunt bezoeken, duiken, zwemmen en baden op enkele van de mooiste plekken van Zuid-Sardinië.

The Casa Dei Lentischi is a beautifully situated villa perfectly equipped for a large group of people. The highlight is definitely the infinity pool overlooking the bay. Only five walking minutes from the house there is a small beach to take a swim in the crystal clear water. The communication with the host was pleasant and the check-in and check-out process went smoothly. We have spent a great vacation in this beautiful corner of the world and cannot wait to come back. I highly recommend a stay at the Casa Dei Lentischi!

Our first time in Sardinia after MANY years traveling in ITALY and so glad we chose the S coast and this perfectly located rental. SUNSETS! Outdoor dining, walk to the beach, rooms for all or crew! The print out left for us was useful in recommending the MUST dos of the area including day trips, boat rentals and the best restauarnts. the only frustration was the caretaker knew NO English. But we managed with smiles!! The villa finer send a welcome package that was divine! I want to sneak back!

I love Italy, the Italian culture and its food: here you find them all! I read Caroline's comment after having booked already through Salogi and I was worried to find myself in the same situation but I loved the house and the area. I believe that we are different travellers, looking for a diverse environment. I have been to Sardinia a few times in the past, loved the unspoilt part of this island while disliking the fashionable and "fake" part of it around Porto Cervo. Casa dei Lentischi is surrounded by nature, Porto Pino is an unspoiled fisherman's village- for sure it is not in the VIP part of Sardina. We enjoyed the white dunes around the villa as well as the ponds not far away where we saw amazing flamingoes. I will definitely go back next year!!!

We really loved the house and the place. We are already thinking about when we could come back in Italy for holiday because for us the staying has been way too short. Even if we couldn’t get the mint (for our cocktails) ;) We would really like to come back to Sardinia and in this house in particular.
