Diese charmante und elegante Villa mit privatem Pool befindet sich in einer spektakulären und ruhigen Position, nur wenige Kilometer vom Dorf Montalcino entfernt. Dieses Gebiet ist weltweit für seine ausgezeichnete Weinproduktion bekannt und die Gäste können einige der umliegenden Weingüter besichtigen und eine Weinprobe durchführen. Nur fünf Autominuten entfernt (3,5 km) befindet sich das berühmte Castello Banfi; hier können die Gäste die Kellereien und den Weiler besuchen, den guten Wein genießen und ihren Balsamico-Essig probieren, in einem der ausgezeichneten Restaurants zu Mittag oder zu Abend essen.
Der Besitzer, ein renommierter italienischer Architekt und Innenarchitekt, restaurierte die Villa unter Berücksichtigung der toskanischen Tradition und stattete sie mit einer beeindruckenden Kombination aus persönlich entworfenen und einigen antiken Möbeln aus, deren Fotos im Laufe der Jahre in vielen Innenzeitschriften veröffentlicht wurden. Ehemalige Kunden haben das Innere der Villa, insbesondere die großzügigen Sitzgelegenheiten und den großen Esstisch, sehr geschätzt.
Alle Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock haben eine Klimaanlage und zwei weitere tragbare Einheiten sind auf Anfrage erhältlich, was diese Villa auch am wärmsten Tag des Sommers komfortabel macht.
Die ruhige Lage der Villa ermöglicht es den Gästen, sich vollständig zu entspannen und gleichzeitig die herausragende Aussicht zu genießen, mit Blick auf das Val d'Orcia und die Crete Senesi, die von vielen als die schönsten Teile der Toskana angesehen werden.
Die Lage von Lavacchio ist ideal für Besichtigungen der bekanntesten toskanischen Dörfer und Städte, wie Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Pitigliano, Pienza, Cortona, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Florenz, usw.
Die Immobilie umfasst das Haupthaus des Anwesens aus Stein und ein Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad im Gästehaus. Weitere 3 Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad können gegen Aufpreis für bis zu 18 Personen gemietet werden.

The Villa is roomy and nicely furnished, and the swimming pool,accessed through the vineyard, was a great feature--especially for the grandkids. My only suggestion is that the owner upgrade the gravel access road. It is just too rough and bumpy.

Wonderful villa. We were a group of 11, older people down to 5-year old, and the villa was perfect for everyone. The building itself is extraordinary, the view spectacular, and the pool very nice.

We just returned from a week at Lavacchio...what an amazing property! The villa itself is exactly as photographed. The owners have done a superb job furnishing every room. We were 9 adults and 3 children and were more than comfortable in the space without booking the additional two rooms. The location just outside of Montalcino is spectacular. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants, as well as two cooked meals on property prepared by the lovely groundskeeper. The villa is equipped with Wifi and has three dining tables...kitchen, dining room and a lovely covered area off of the kitchen. The pool was great...seems to have some sort of leak and chairs could stand to be updated, but that would be my only criticism. I searched for months to find a villa and I can honestly say this one is close to perfect!

This is our third stay at this beautiful villa and we feel like we are coming "home" when we arrive. The villa is situated in a spectacular position to enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with views of the Banfi castle and the small village of Camigliano across the valley. The caretaker for the villa, Tiziana, is very helpful and is a wonderful cook as well. The wine made from the vineyards on the property is excellent and we are so appreciative that the wine makers share it with us. The ability to rent additional rooms if the group is larger provides great flexibility when booking this villa. This is one of my favorite places to stay in Italy and would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Villa Lavacchio in 2010 and returned this year for 2 weeks. It is a beautiful property and the location near Montalcino is spectacular. Very private with wonderful views of nearby Camigliano and Banfi Castle. It is a very comfortable villa with lots of space for a group to spread out. The pool is located on a hill overlooking the villa and the nearby valleys, and is a great vantage point for spectacular sunsets. The caretaker of the property, Tiziana, is wonderful and also a great cook. I highly recommend this property and will continue to return for my holidays in Tuscany.

Lavacchio has a beautiful setting, very quiet and peaceful. Out of the way but easily accessible to many locations. It is a large house and comfortable for a group. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Lavacchio is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany and the villa is wonderful. The views of the countryside are spectacular from every part of the property, the rooms are all comfortable and well appointed with furnishings. This property is a beautiful place to spend your vacation in Tuscany. We will definitely return for many more vacations at this very special villa.
