Beschrijving
Dit pand ligt aan de westkant van het Lago Maggiore, in het prachtige park van „Lagoni di Mercurago“. Vanaf veel plekken op het landgoed, vooral vanuit de grote tuin, kun je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en het middeleeuwse fort van Angera aan de overkant. Villa Adriana is in de jaren zestig ontworpen en gebouwd door een beroemde architect, en is onlangs gerestaureerd en gemoderniseerd. Het interieur is ruim en licht, met een gevarieerd kleurenpalet, hoewel wit de boventoon voert. Het huis is te zien geweest in verschillende tijdschriften die gespecialiseerd zijn in architectonisch ontwerp. Villa Adriana bestaat uit een rond hoofdgedeelte, met een zeer grote zitkamer die ooit een danszaal was, en twee vleugels met identieke gangen die leiden naar een grote eetkamer en het slaapgedeelte. Het resultaat is een huis met een spectaculaire structuur in de vorm van een vliegtuig.

The property, the house (especially the furnishing) and the staff were extraordinary. Villa Adriana is a real oasis of peace and we enjoyed the several restaurants nearby and we recommend a visit in the parco dei Lagoni, absolutely beautiful!
